Where do I vote?

If you are a Virginia Resident voting outside of Charlottesville/Albemarle County, you can find information about requesting an absentee ballot or voting early here. If you are an out of state resident who will not be voting in Virginia, you may find out how to request an absentee ballot here.

In Virginia, you may vote anytime between reading this and November 5th just by visiting an early voting location. If you registered to vote with an on grounds address, then you are a registered voter in Albemarle County and you may vote at Slaughter Recreation Center on Election Day. If you registered to vote with an off-grounds address, you can see if you live in the City of Charlottesville via this map. Note which precinct you live in, as your polling location can then be found here. If you are outside the blue lines, then you are voting in Albemarle County and can find a polling place here, however Slaughter Recreation Center will likely be the most convenient for those who live close to grounds.

How do I get there?

Aside from public transportation, SERV will be hosting Golf Cart rides to the polls this Election Day! Text us at (434) 218-0944‬ and tell us your pickup location! We will be offering rides from 9am to 4pm, however polls will be open from 6am-7pm.
